The film depicts the veteran Stage performing artist Ayya Aadhimoolam, who has a lot of respect for the tamil stage drama society. Even he gets a lot of opportunities to act in the films, he inclines toward acting infront of audience (people). Presently, the theater fine art is diminishing, Aadhimoolam and his troop struggle to survive. In an astonishing turn he begins to act in feature films, which makes him a Star. In any case, nature of the present film making and commercializing of the fine art makes ‘Ayya’ baffled and he disappears leaving his makers in a tight spot. This makes a insanity between the fans and the producers. How the movie goes forward is the remaining story.
First Seethakaathi needs tolerance as it just grabs after the first hour, the director take his time to build the character and his legacy which assumes control over the film till the end. Balaji Tharaneetharan cautiously mixes show to dull parody which may not speak to the greater part of the group of audience, but rather keeps me audience engaged. Vijay Sethupathy has performed as an artist has made a mark, however his fans may be upset because of his short screen presence. Mouli and rest of the team has perfectly done there characters. Duration and dreary scenes makes the film dull, however some may contend on the length. Despite everything we feel in 30 minutes additional and could have been trimmed.
