Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah are not there Indian Team Squad for West Indies Tour | Why?

After loosing the Champions Trophy Cup to Pakistan, India will be getting ready for West Indies tour on 23rd June, 2017. The will be playing 5 ODI and single T20.

India Squad

Virat Kohli (c), MS Dhoni (wk), Shikhar Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, Ajinkya Rahane, Dinesh Karthik, Kedar Jadhav, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Kuldeep Yadav

More Details about the Squad:

Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah are not in the squad as they will be resting after the Champions Trophy squad and in their place, Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav are included in the team. Anil Kumble, whose one year contract as head coach has been expired after the Champion’s Trophy, will also travel to the Caribbean until a decision has been finalized on the (new) coach.

When we look at the Indian squad, these players jumped from IPL straight into Champions Trophy and will now jump into West Indies and then straight into the Sri Lanka tour as one can only assume that India will select their most experienced for Sri Lanka.
