IPL 2017, MATCH 24: Rising Pune Supergiant vs Sunrisers Hyderabad
- Sunrisers Hyderabad have won four matches out of six.
- Rising Pune Supergiant have won two out of five matches.
- SRH and RPS stand third and seventh respectively on points table.
Smith had previously missed Rising Pune Supergiant’s match against Delhi Daredevils on April 11 in light of a upset stomach. Ajinkya Rahane had filled in as remain in captain then as Delhi Daredevils won the match by 97 runs. [xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense”]
Rahane will be required to be the remain in captain in Smith’s nonattendance at the end of the day yet RPS will be shy of the Australian’s touchy batting capacity.
South African player Faf du Plessis had filled in for Smith in the batting request for the match against Delhi Daredevils.

As far as the Sunrisers are concerned, after a rampaging start, they suffered losses against Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders in successive matches but they brought their campaign back on track with victories over Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Daredevils.
