Mersal Movie Review | Its really a Thalapathy Diwali?

Mersal is clearly going to be a Thalapathy and Atlee film.  Atlee, a young director who stole our heart in his first movie Raja Rani. When people where thinking he would be a great romantic movie director, he blasted the screens along with Vijay in the movie Theri. It was a commercial blockbuster, after Theri for the second time Vijay and Atlee joined hands for the movie Mersal under the banner of prestigious Sri Thenandal Films, it’s there 100th film.

Cast and Crew:

There are three heroines in this movie Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha were seen with Vijay in his recent movie. Nithya Melon will be the new heroine in the Mersal team.

SJ Suryah, who was recently seen as a sadist villain in Mahesh Babu’s Spyder, will be seen as the villain in this movie, which has Sathyaraj, Rajendran, Yogi Babu, Cheenu Mohan and others in the cast. After 6 years Vadivelu will be sharing the screen space with Vijay.

Mersal Review:

Mersal is a movie based on medical scam and has a good social message, it is a perfect script for a star hero like Vijay for a Diwali release. The expectation for the movie was very high, it was trending in social media before its release. Its a triple treat for Vijay fans, as they can see Vijay in triple roles, a doctor, a magician and village man. For the first time in his career Vijay is playing a triple action movie.

The story is regarding medical scam, how medicine industry has became business, fraom a ambulance driver to a chief doctor everyone are being involved in the scam. There are few scene’s which will melt your heart and drop tears from your eyes. It’s an extra-ordinary screenplay, from the beginning till the end, there’s not a single scene that will bore you. Its a masala film there’s some logic missing but Vijay’s presence in the screen will make you to move on.

Kajal Agarwal and Samantha doesn’t have much roles to play except a song with A.R Rahaman’s music and visualization are really awesome in the film. Nithya Menon is likely be to main heroine of the film as she has a major role in the movie. Nithya Menon has given her best to the movie.

S.J Suriya has done a role of the doctor has his acting is really great. He is the latest version of Raghuwaran. Sathyaraj has done a role of a police officer who catches Vijay in the intro scene for kidnapping/murdering, he is now famous for a new dialogue “ASUSUAL PURIYALE” the way he says the dialogue once again reminds us he’s a legendary actor.

Overall the movie Mersal is a perfect entertainer for all age groups. There is a little crisper, that the film could have been even better. Atlee could have few more scenes for Vadivelu, however its a good comeback film for him. Without any doubt this films is going to be a blockbuster and one of the best film for Vijay, Atlee and all the others who acted in this film.
