Kochi Metro Inauguration by Prime Minister | Things Behind the Metro

Kochi a district in Kerala, for the first time has launched Metro Train service for a distance of 25 kilometer. At the moment Metro Train services have been completed for 13 km long stretch between Palarivattam and Aluva. Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the airport of the INS Garuda airport in Cochin at 10.15 am to attend the function.

Kochi Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was welcomed by the Prime Minister. Later, the Prime Minister, who opened the metro station, started moving the metro rail service flag. Later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu travelled in the Metro train.
