Movie Review:

First a big hat’s off to Raai Laxmii for choosing this script boldly! The film is not about the sex and nude, it is an intense story of a simple woman struggling to become celebrity.

Julie 2 is a sequel of the movie Julie released in the year 2004. Neha Dhupia played the role of Julie and the movie was a great success. Julie 2 is Raai Laxmi’s bollywood debut film with 2 years of hardwork.

The film is completely about Julie who struggles to become an actress. Julie meets many producers, co-actors, sportsmen, businessmen and politians. She is looking for true love and expects the same to be shown on her, but all the men who came in her life just look at her with lust. Julie finally gets trapped in a bad incident when she is shooting for a biopic and the movie gets to fantastic climax.

Verdict – A neat and brave attempt that can be watched.
