Movie Review:

Major Kathiravan(Vishal), a trainer in Indian Army with anger management issues gets suspended for assaulting a collection agent. He can join the army only after getting a NOC from a Phsychologist, Rathi Devi (Samantha). Then comes the flash back, the reason for his anger. Devi advices him to take a break and spend time with his family. After spending few weeks in village he slowly changes and knows that his sister’s marriage is delayed because of the shortage money.

He decides to help his father and advices his father (Delhi Ganesh) to sell his mother’s land and for the remaining money they can get bank loan. Unfortunately, his loan application was rejected by all the banks. During that time a agents voluntarily comes in and offers that they can get loan by submitting fake documents and they gets the money. First time Robo Shanker teaches on how to withdraw cash from ATM, on the second time when Vishal’s father visits ATM and there was insufficients funds. Then they realise that the money was stolen by Cyber thieves.

Kathiravan can’t give a police complaint because they themselves has submitted fake documents to get the loan. Overall, Kathiravan was helpless against the unknown enemy and then he learns there are many others like hime whose money were dissappeared from the account. Finally he decides to shutdown the cyber criminals after some interesting fight scenes he finds White Devil “Arjun”, a master mind brilliant hacker, Don of the digital world. His character in this films is a danger villian and his sayings in this movie is “Information is Wealth”.

The film was packed up with a perfect storyline and a little draggy screenplay till the interval. The second half deserves to come under the thriller genre as the first half was more of drama. This isn’t a perfect thriller but its more than enough to satisfy the common audience. Storyline was strong with excellent ideas and messages. This is tech script which delivers lots of message to the public.

Characterisation was one of the best in this film. Cat and Mouse game makes you get deep into the script. A awesome comeback by Vishal and Arjun. Dialogues were a bit odd in most of the scenes.The film would’ve been much better if there was more of montage than the draggy drama. George.C.Williams(DOP) adds spice to the storyline with his lighting and camera skills. Ruben(Editor) has coperated with DOP to give life to the film. Let it be the jump from one frame to the other or adding the visual effects.

Yuvan Shankar Raja, has delivered a delightful background score for this film. Should have concentrated more on the scoring by ignoring the songs. Should have given a powerful theme music for villian and espcially during the cat mouse games played by Vishal and Arjun.

This film surely makes you think about how tech gadgets and digital india is growing. You may start fearing of them too. Don’t submit fake documents to get a loan from the bank.

Overall- Can’t believe this is a debut film for P.S.Mithran. This is a must watch film. Spend 2hrs to witness a Techno-Dramatic-Thriller.

It’ll surely entertain any type of audience.
