HBO Announces Game of Thrones Season 7 Premiere Date | Official Teaser
Winter is coming this summer, as the season 7 premiere date for HBO’s block buster hit has finally been announced.
The announcement was made in an expand uncover on a live video on the show’s Facebook page viewed by more than 150,000 fans, as a piece of ice was softened by a blazing light. Fans were urged to leave there comments with “fire” and “dracarys” to accelerate the softening; the uncover was likewise sprinkled with short recordings of the show’s stars like Alfie Allen breathing flame.
Much to fans’ disappointment, the main cycle of the live video – which was planned for 11am PT – finished unexpectedly with no uncover of the date, inciting many Twitter jokes about “Sopranos”- like endings. A moment rendition finished without an uncover also.

Season 7 will consist of 7 episodes, as variety initially detailed, with Season 8 anticipated that would be somewhere close to 6 or 8 scenes.
